1. Management of personal data.

The Customer is informed of the regulations concerning marketing communications, the Act of 21 June 2014 on confidence in the digital economy, the Data Protection Act of 6 August 2004, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: No. 2016-679).

2. Those responsible for collecting personal data

For Personal Data collected in connection with the creation of the User’s personal account and their use of the Website, the data controller is: JC RANCH.

As the data controller responsible for the data it collects, JC RANCH undertakes to comply with the applicable legal framework. In particular, it is the Client’s responsibility to determine the purposes of its data processing, to provide its prospective and existing customers – having obtained their consent – with full information regarding the processing of their personal data, and to maintain a record of processing activities that accurately reflects the actual situation.

  • the right to object to the processing of Users’ data (Article 21 of the GDPR)
  • the right to data portability in respect of data provided by Users, where such data is subject to automated processing based on their consent or on a contract (Article 20 of the GDPR)
  • the right to determine what happens to Users’ data after their death and to choose to whom https://jc-ranch.com/ will be required to disclose (or not) their data to a third party whom they have previously designated

As soon as JC RANCH upon becoming aware of a User’s death and in the absence of any instructions from them, https://jc-ranch.com/ undertakes to destroy its data, unless it is necessary to retain it for evidential purposes or to comply with a legal obligation.

JC RANCH undertakes to take all necessary precautions to safeguard the security of the Information and, in particular, to ensure that it is not disclosed to unauthorised persons. However, if an incident affecting the integrity or confidentiality of the Client’s Information is brought to the attention of JC RANCH, the Company must inform the Customer as soon as possible and set out the corrective measures taken. Furthermore, JC RANCH does not collect any «sensitive data».

The User’s Personal Data may be processed by subsidiaries of JC RANCH and subcontractors (service providers), solely for the purposes set out in this policy.

Within the limits of their respective remit and for the purposes set out above, the main individuals likely to have access to the data of Users of JC RANCH are mainly our customer service staff.

6. Types of data collected
